  1. Clinical Features Of Hyperlipidaemia
  2.
  3. Hyperlipidaemia may present to the clinician in several ways. Unfortunately, however, the first manifestation is often a cardiovascular event.
  4. There are three main clinical manifestations of hyperlipidaemia: increased clinical consequences of atherosclerosis; cutaneous manifestations of hyperlipidaemia; and the chylomicronaemia syndrome that can occur when chylomicrons accumulate chronically.
  5. As screening for hyperlipidaemia becomes more commonplace, asymptomatic cases are being detected more frequently.
